Preparation to receive the sacrament of First Holy Communion requires your child to experience two years of religious education either through our Parish School or our Religious Education Program. The preparation for this sacrament is separate from the classroom and runs concurrently with your child’s second year of religious education. The program culminates with the celebration of your child’s First Holy Communion typically during the month of May. Preparation for First Reconciliation is required as part of preparation for First Eucharist. For more information, please contact Andrea Foyle, Director of Religious Education.

Adults who wish to come into the Church and receive their First Holy Communion must go through the Order of Christian Initiation for Adults (OCIA).

If it has been a long time since you last attended Mass, it is required you meet with the priest for Confession before receiving Our Lord in Holy Communion.
